  • Sainsburys Active Kids – Feb-May 2017- For several years now we have taken advantage of the “Active Kids” Vouchers offered by Sainsburys to acquire some very valuable bits of equipment such as excellent First Aid packs, Games and Sporting equipment for our Beaver, Cub and Scout sections. Sainsbury have just started issuing the vouchers for 2017. So … if you find yourself shopping in a Sainsbury store, can you make sure you collect the Vouchers on offer …..
    We have a collecting box which will be set up in the entrance hall of the Church Hall every Friday night, or just hand in to a Leader … Sainsburys will issue the vouchers till the end of May …
  • Nationwide Community Match – Feb-Mar 2017 – we have been shortlisted for the Nationwide Community Matching Scheme. Community Match is our in-branch, local charity voting scheme. Our branches feature three local charities/causes from customer nominations. Customers are then invited to vote for one winner with a blue token, issued in branch. Shortlisted causes will receive a £100 donation. Winning causes, that receive the most votes at the end of the voting campaign, will receive an additional £1,000. Voting will end on Friday 31 March 2017.
  • Bag Pack at Iceland – raised £293 for group funds on 17th Dec 2016
  • Bag Pack at Marks and Spencer – raised £1521 for group funds on 22nd Dec 2016
  • Bag Pack at Iceland – raised £269 for group funds on 23rd Dec 2016
  • Cubs ‘Great Bake Off’ event in Nov 2015 raised £90 for Children In Need.
  • Bag Pack at Iceland – raised £317 for group funds in Dec 2015.
  • Beavers/Cubs Bring-And-Buy/Home-Baking Sale raised £230 for group funds in March 2016
